This is a romantic short story i read somewhere, hope you all will like it :)
A young cloud was born in the midst of a storm over the sea, but he did not have the time to grow up over there, for the strong wind pushes all the clouds over the hot desert towards the green forest land.
The young cloud decided to leave his group of friends to discover the world. "What are you doing? re-join us, there's nothing good in the desert, lets head to the amazing forest!" says the wind. But the rebellious cloud refused to follow the crowd. He dropped down until he found himself hover above the golden sands of the desert. It was then, he noticed that one of the dunes is smiling at him.
The dune was also young, newly formed by the wind that had just passed over. He fell in love with her, the golden hair dune at first sight.
They chat and both find that they have no purpose in life, "life is short, when the winds return from the forest, i will disappear" said the dune.
"i am the same, as soon as another wind comes along, I'll go south and be transformed into rain." said the cloud.
The dune hesitate for a moment and said "do you know here in desert, we call the rain paradise?"
The cloud smiles "i didnt know i am that important."
"I've heard from the others when it rains in the desert, we will be covered with grass and flowers, but i dont think i will ever experience that"
The cloud hesitate a while, and reply her with a broad smile "if you like, i could rain on you now, although we've only just got to know each other, but i love you, and i'd like to stay here forever."
"when i first saw you up in the sky, i've already fallen in love with you, although i know we can never be together, but if you transform yourself into rain, you will die..."
"love never dies" said the cloud, "it is only transformed, in different part of our life, exist in different dimension, no matter how far we are apart, it is still here, as long as you believe in love. besides i want to show you what paradise is like."
And he began to caress the dune with little drops of rain, so they could stay together for a little longer, until a rainbow appeared, and the little dune covered in flowers.
Twenty years later, the dune has become an oasis that refreshes the travelers with the shades of its trees.
All because, one day, the cloud fell in love with the dune...... and his selfless courage to protect his love one.
