Break of dawn

Its been some time since i last blog, a real busy week. Been working real hard lately, put in xtra concentration, xtra hard working to my job, although still got mistakes here and there hahaha. Work work work, things will get better, i hope.

Queuing for donut is now a new past time for the locals, the donut factory at raffles city shopping mall is just full with long queue every hour in the day. My weird cousin brought home a box of donuts and decided to share with us, the donut really looks delicious..... and fattening haha. I asked him queuing 3hours to buy for your gf right, he said, no la, i just want to eat so i queue loh. I was like wat the.... how many guys will actually spend 3hours in their life to queue for a food just for themselves, well for a girl you love, i would say you are so real damn power! respect you man. I dont know what is he thinking, but still thank him for these donuts ahhaha.

Today is a monday 9th of July
Still remember the ownage japanese restaurant i went a month ago, the chef is on newspaper today.

Nogawa restaurant, one of the most reputable japanese restaurant in singapore.

The chief chef nogawa san, is the very first few japanese chef who came here in early 60s. He is now a reputable chef in singapore who also teaches the art of japanese cuisine to the public, a true master indeed, who doest mind to share his skills.

Today is tuesday 10th of july
A day that is suppose to be wonderful with the clear weather, but this scene at the lift just kinda pissed me off.
Why are Singaporeans so inconsiderate, whats with this? treating your lift as a rubbish dump? I have no idea which dumb ass did this, but he needs a real whack to wake up his fuking idea. Cant he use his pea brain and think that this is actually a fire hazard, and what if the elderly and kids trip and fall with these shits. Whoever did this deserve to be cursed. Argh, stupid people.

Today is wednesday 11th of july

I went to simlim during my lunch hour, to buy a new ear piece for my handphone, which i lost it a week ago in the swimming pool at tampines safra.

Walking by the back ally of bugis street, on my way to simlim.

Simlim is still within walking distance from my company. The thing about simlim is, the price may be cheap, but you must make sure you know who you are buying from, and check everything you buy.

I first walk around to take a look at the latest price list, and wow things are really cheap nowadays. I saw a 1gb thumb drive from sandisk for only 17bucks, wat a deal i told myself, and i brought it without having a 2nd thought. Aha, saved at least 30bucks, luckily i didnt buy it a few months ago.

I then walk around simlim to look for suitable ear piece for my phone, in the end decided to buy in this small booth standing right in the bazaar area of simlim first floor. I check the condition of the ear piece hurriedly, as time is almost up for lunch break, it works, seems fine, so i happily ask to pay for it.

The salesman uses a calculator and show me the price, its 35bucks, i took out a 50 dollar note from my wallet and now he told me plus gst its 37.4 bucks, i was like what the fuk. I told myself, since its work perfectly and i dont wish to waste time to look over again, not much of a pain with additional 2bucks also, so i hurriedly pay and go. On the way back, i put on the ear piece and then i realised the length is not right, kinda too long, it was then i check again carefully, the logo seems fake, argh got cheated, some fake goods, not original ear piece from sony.

Damn simlim, and damn me for being so stupid, thought i saved 30 bucks in the first place but in the end, guess its a loss, a price to pay for a lesson.

Today is thursday, 12th of July

The good old and friendly system admin guy in my company, mr sito brought alot of home made pandan cakes and banana cakes to the office. I went early in the morning to the pantry to spy on the cakes haha, then i saw this funny scene.

At first i thought he's trying to be funny putting the $1 sign there and a cup with a dollar coin in it. I joking ask him, is that some sorta gimmick hahaha. He told me that this is how the americans sell their stuff. They will just leave a stack of newspapers on a table in the middle of a busy street and leave a cup there, stating the price. There will be noone attending the stall, you can just take any number of newspapers without paying.

But in the well educated american society, most people, infact almost 80% people will pay for the papers. I am abit astonished, that will never happen in Singapore i told mr sito. He laugh and said maybe. I then tell him, in singapore if u did this, you cannot even expect to see the cup there after a few hours hahaha! He agree and laugh out loud. I do not know how many people pay for his cakes in the office, how many free riders, but i did pay, as a token to thank his guidance as well as to support this old and funny guy.

I haven seen her for a couple of days, so i took this great opportunity to walk to their new seatings, a room sited at a very quiet corner in the office. Mr sito is one of the colleague whom they are most friendly with, infact he seems to be the only topic for me to engage in a conversation with them. That explains why i really thank the man.

Anyway, she is not around today, if i am not wrong, they should be leaving on friday. I am kinda disappointed for not having the chance to talk to her for the last 2nd day. Well, just as a friend, even though there are so many misunderstandings in the begining, but still, i am really happy to know this extraordinary girl, who just have the ability to light anyone's life up.

The super spongy pandan cake.

Today is friday, 13rd of july.

Friday the thirteen, the topic of the day. Its a real unlucky day for me too, and a memorable one. Alot of work is due today, but a stupid new brief that i am handling is giving me alot of problems, and keep coming back with changes, argh therefore causes me to delay alot of other work too.

I didnt have a proper lunch for the past 2 days, due to rushing with work, just bite the subway sandwiches. I got a liking with subway, ever since i first try it a few months ago, because i found out that alot of girls actually like it, including her... and i am curious why. The first time i brought subway is a real joke of the day, i didnt know what to order and you know the bread names are so chim for me hahaha. But now, i am real pro i guess, 6 inch oregano bread cold trio delight + bacon and cheese, toasted, topped with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles with mayonnaise sauce, my favorite order.

It is their last day today, i still remember despite of my busy work, i pluck out my courage when its nearing 6pm in the evening and walk to their room. Lightly knocked the door and went it trying hard to smile. She's not in there... i wonder if the other girls saw the disappointed look on my face. However I still greet the girls, and sincerely wishes them all the best, mentioning that times really flies so quickly, and they smile. We shake hands, and i guess this will be the last time i get to see this group of cheerful girls. I never had experience dealing with a group of girls. Talking to one already a real challenge to me, not to mention trying to make friends with a group of them.

Its so great to know them, i wanted to tell them how much i appreciate, but i guess it might not be appropriate, later i seem too weird to them again and scare them off aha? A farewell with the girls, and as i make myself out of the room, my heart feel lighter and happier. Alot of things happened, but thinking back, it aint really serious matters, just some misunderstandings and perhaps i am just over friendly and acted real weird that time.

Otaku in the process of tuning to normal i would say ahahaa, a friend of mine told me, the way i did things last time really seems like Otaku loh, weird and freaky guy. But i guess everyone has a growing stage, i am on mine in the lesson of socializing with the female gender.

But i am quite disappointed not to be able to see her for the last day, just wanted to farewell with her, as a friend or maybe a colleague to her. Hope she gets to enter the local university and continue to pursue her dreams. All the best for this special friend of mine, may luck always shine on her.

We might not know each other in any way before, but during these few months, our fate did crosses each other. we might not know what will happen in the future, but still its a real pleasure knowing each other and that... we shared this precious memories at this very moment in this place. This is what all it matters, for that, i call them my friends..... of life.

So long~ madane! All the best!
